Project Highlight
Directed a brand and interface modernization for an open-source vehicle management application, prioritizing accessibility and long-term utility.
Project Background
Driven by a desire to optimize the self-hosted user experience, I led a visual audit and redesign of Hammond. The project focused on creating a system where the interface recedes to let the data lead. I established a new design language that balances the technical nature of vehicle logging with a modern, high-end consumer aesthetic, ensuring the application feels as professional as it is functional.
Impact
Established a design framework that resolved fragmentation across the app’s core modules. By prioritizing clean information architecture and consistent UI patterns, the refresh provides a blueprint for how open-source tools can achieve enterprise-level design standards without losing their community-driven roots.
