Project Highlight
Comprehensive brand and interface refresh for a self-hosted, open-source web application.
Project Background
Hammond is a self-hosted, open-source web app designed to make logging and managing vehicle details simple and reliable over time. I led a full visual and UX refresh focused on improving clarity, usability, and cohesion – ensuring the interface remained approachable while supporting long-term, self-hosted use.
Impact
The refresh established a more cohesive visual system that reduced friction in daily use and clarified information hierarchy without increasing interface complexity.

Objective
The overhaul focused on modernizing Hammond’s visual identity while preserving its technical integrity and usability. My approach revolved around a central concept: sleek but efficient.
